PROGRAMS AND SERVICES FOR CLIENTS MTS helps its clients achieve financial self-sufficiency and meet the challenges of the modern working world with job readiness training, computer training and support services. Our highly individualized approach to training insures that our clients receive the support they need when they need it. Counseling The MTS Counseling Staff provides Vocational and Assessment counseling for all clients. Our Assessment Counselors work with clients to develop an Employment Plan, a training program and identify job search and career goals. Vocational Counselors provide ongoing support and assistance to clients during their training and through placement. The counseling staff also conducts our Encore Training which prepares clients for the day-to-day demands of the working world. Counselors will also work with clients after they are placed to resolve workplace concerns and to assure that client needs and expectations are met. Training MTS training prepares clients for a wide range of positions, primarily those with a strong administrative component. MTS clients are currently employed as Administrative Assistants, Bookkeepers, Customer Service Representatives, Peer Counselors, Receptionists and Clerks with leading area employers. Our aim is to help clients enter the job market in assignments that offer additional training opportunities and the potential for further career advancement. MTS continues to work with clients after they are successfully placed to assure that the employer/employee relationship is mutually productive. Case Management Our Case Management team help clients with HIV/AIDS resolve the issues in their lives that hinder their ability to achieve their work goals. This includes help with housing, coordination of medical care, obtaining quality childcare and other individual issues. On-site Child Care The MTS "Discovery Room" provides on-site, supervised and stimulating setting for preschool children while their parents or guardians are attending an MTS class or meeting. This is available for clients at Registration and on to entering the workforce as long as the parent is at MTS and on-site, too.
