MTS has developed relationships with many New York area companies. Our Employer Partners represent a wide spectrum of industries and they participate in the valuable work we do in several ways.
- Employers can list open positions with MTS and utilize the screening services of the MTS Placement staff to identify qualified applicants.
- FLEX PLUS can meet temporary or short-term staffing needs in several functional areas and employers can take advantage of a No Fee Temp-to-Perm Option.
- Presentations on adapting ADA requirements to your workplace and more
- There are also several government-funded job programs that help both MTS clients and our emplyer customers:
- Wage subsidy programs funded through the New York State Department of Labor allow us to reimburse employers for up to 25% of the first years wages for new hires.
- Ten to twelve week Paid Internships (at no cost to the company offering the internship).
- Assistance on applying for applicable tax incentives and credits for hiring MTS clients.
The MTS Business Advisory Council is another venue for cooperation and mutual support. The BAC meets quarterly to review employer needs, assess market trends and establish sound training and work readiness programs.
